City Views

I love to photograph nature and scenery: trees, rocks, flowers, mountains, streams.  Sometimes, though, travel takes me, and you, to a city.  In the past, I would leave my camera back in the hotel room when the day's agenda meant a visit to a historical house or museum.  Now, I accept the challenge and take the opportunity to photograph the "cityscape."
Today's building materials offer the chance to catch interesting images reflected from the surroundings.  In addition to the buildings themselves, architectural details and patterns can be used to create interesting compositions.  Street performers, sidewalk vendors, and shop windows present some unique camera opportunities.  And, yes, there is wildlife, mainly in the form of birds, and a botanical garden to showcase local flora in any big city.
